The engineering department has extensive experience and offer a variety of services within aquaculture.
The department has been accredited to perform mooring analysis since 2012.
- Accredited mooring analysis for all types of fish farms and feed barges in accordance with NYTEK23 and NS9514:2021
- Planning and dimensioning of components and complete fish farms
- Evaluations of used components for further approval / elongation of service life
- Technical analysis and dimensioning of nets
- Design, planning and analysis of new constructions for sea-based aquaculture

We always go the extra mile to find the best and most cost-effective solutions during planning and analysis of floating fish farms.
In cooperation with the customer, we help plan new aquaculture sites and create application drawings.

Artic offshore farming
Mørenot Aquaculture and Aqua Knowledge developed the total technical net solution for Arctic Offshore Farming from Norway Royal Salmon (NRS). This site is located offshore and is exposed to harsh weather conditions and strong currents.
This imposes stricter requirements on the technical solutions.Arctic Offshore Farming is a semi-subsea fish farm, and has been in operation since winter, 2021/22.
