Silt Curtain

Effective barrier that protects against the spread of particles in the sea and waterways

What is a silt curtain?

Silt curtains – also known as turbidity curtains or environmental curtains – are used to control and reduce the spread of particles such as silt, sand, and other sediment in water. They are particularly useful in construction projects near water sources, where they help prevent pollution of rivers, lakes, and coastal areas.

The curtain functions as a barrier between the work site and the water, ensuring that suspended particles are contained. Only water passes through the fabric, making the solution both effective and environmentally friendly. With a silt curtain from Mørenot Aquaculture, you can safely delimit your work area while meeting today’s strict environmental requirements.
