Square Pens
Square pens are often used in sheltered locations for the purpose of "nursery pens" or "smolt pens", but can also be used as slaughter pens
Square pens systems can be built with a centralized walkway of variable width. Full walkway around every pen is also an option. Other features such as integrated bird net poles, and winches for dividing the pen nets can be added.
The square pen systems can be either as individual pens or built together in larger systems of 4, 6, 8 or even 12 pens – in typical sizes of between 6 x 6 to 12 x 12 mtr. Harvest pens are often constructed in a larger size i.e. 15 x 40 mtr.
