Meet Jordi Comas - International Sales Director EMEA
For Jordi Comas, sales is not just about closing deals – it’s about being present, understanding biology, and building strong, lasting relationships with customers. As International Sales Director for Mørenot Aquaculture in the EMEA region, he leads sales operations in what the company refers to as the “warm water markets” – spanning from the Mediterranean to the Middle East.

With a background in biology and a master’s degree in aquaculture from Scotland, Jordi has worked in the industry since the late 1990s. In 2018, he completed an industrial PhD focused on antifouling management in cage aquaculture – studying how different cleaning strategies impact equipment, fish health, and operational costs. This deep technical knowledge enhances the quality of the advice and solutions he provides and aligns closely with Mørenot Aquaculture’s commitment to delivering expertise and long-term value.
Though based in Spain, Jordi supports customers across countries, often working in close collaboration with local partners and colleagues around the globe. His day-to-day work consists of everything from hands-on technical meetings and exhibitions to project planning and commercial follow-up.
