Sustainability in action – Liv Lund

Behind policies, climate reporting, and EU directives are people who truly want to make a difference. One of them is Liv Lund. As ESG Manager at Mørenot she works across a wide range of areas – from emissions reporting and circular solutions to supplier audits and human rights in the supply chain.

Her work spans broadly: from greenhouse gas reporting and circular economy, to human rights in the supply chain and audits of subcontractors abroad.

– “The best part of my job is being able to help steer things in the right direction. I want to contribute to solutions that actually make a difference,” says Liv.

The position requires both system understanding and decisiveness. When new EU directives are introduced, Liv is quick to assess how they will impact the industry – and how Mørenot should adapt.

No two days are the same. One day she’s at the office, the next she’s on a site visit or fishing vessel to see how things work in practice. She’s also active in various internal and external projects.

Liv started at Mørenot as a summer intern within strategy and business development. After completing her internship, a new opportunity opened up, and she later stepped into the role of ESG Manager. She thrives in a role with autonomy and responsibility, while also valuing collaboration across teams, departments, and borders.
