Building Teams and the Future - Meet Kenneth Larsen

As VP Service at Mørenot Aquaculture, he is responsible for developing, managing, and following up on service and aftermarket operations across all service stations, in addition to being part of the management team.
“What I enjoy most is working with people – building teams and motivating them to move in the same direction to reach our goals."

Values that Make a Difference

For Kenneth, the values of Close and Moving are fundamental to his approach to leadership.
“I believe in being close to people to create results, at the same time, it’s about staying in motion, daring to think differently, and developing together with the industry — and since aquaculture is a young and rapidly evolving field, we must constantly be willing to challenge ourselves.”

A Career Built on Experience and Growth

Kenneth` s journey began as a fish farmer at Follalaks (now Cermaq) in the early 1990s. After several years studying economics and working in the public sector, he returned to Steigen – and to Mørenot Aquaculture.
“I started in accounting and finance at Bøteriet AS (now Mørenot Steigen) before becoming general manager in 2006. When Mørenot Aquaculture acquired the company in 2019, I took on responsibility for the Service segment. It’s been a journey with both ups and downs – but mostly positive,”
For Kenneth, leadership is about more than operations – it’s about people.
