Premium netting is a prerequisite for a good net
MøreNot uses only high quality netting from reputable suppliers. We set high standards for UV protection in raw materials, while the entire production process, from the filament to the finished netting, is monitored by the quality assurance system ISO 9001:2008. The constant high quality can be documented. There is full traceability back to each filament delivery.

Knotless, unraveling-free netting

MøreNot was the first net producer in Norway that invested in unraveling-free, knotless netting. This experience has enabled us to produce a netting with a very high tensile strength relative to its weight.

PLEXUS® netting has also enabled us to go one step further.

Dyneema® netting in purse seiners

Dyneema® netting is 3 times stronger than nylon with the same dimension, and increases the net's strength without increasing the volume and weight. Dyneema® netting means easier handling for the crew, while the abrasion resistance increases the net's life. MøreNot has used its own production of Dyneema® in the large purse seine netting since 1999. In five years, the material was used in the nets for the vessels  "Strand Senior," "Norafjell", "Teigenes", "Sjøbris" and "Eros".
