MøreNot has always led the way in the development and improvement of the purse seine as fishing equipment. Ongoing improvements in assembly and materials is still central to our work. It has, among other things, become increasingly common with Diolene nets instead of the usual nylon nets. Nets of Diolene may have less lead, yet they still sink faster than nylon nets. There is also a growing number who use our Plexus® ropes in felling of the nets. Plexus® is more stable than nylon, while it is an exceptionally strong rope (stronger than steel wire of the same dimension).
