MøreNot was established in 1948, to supply and repair nets to the large herring fisheries on the northwestern coast of Norway. Close contact with users has always given us the edge when it comes to good solutions.

Today, MøreNot is present along the entire coast, with a transparent organization where responsibility is easy to place.

A purchase of a net means a long-standing relationship, and will therefore always be a matter of confidence. Therefore, more than every third net is delivered by us.

MøreNot gives you the very best from both worlds

MøreNot has, since 2002, targeted efforts to build up effective quality manufacturing of custom-made nets in the low-cost country China. Straight lengths are produced on our own machines in China, while the installation, commissioning and quality control takes place at our six facilities in Norway.

With this division of labor, MøreNot has proven that it's possible to deliver customised nets of high quality, on time and at an affordable price.

MøreNot was the first fishing gear manufacturer in Norway, and one of the few in the world, which has a certified quality assurance system according to NS-ISO 9001:2008.

Repairs when there's real urgency - and when it suits you

Six strategically placed facilities, staffed with highly motivated professionals, provide MøreNot with an unprecedented repair capacity. If one net breaks when you need it the most, we all know who is there for whom. Between seasons, we ensure inspection, regular maintenance and replacement of sections, so that you will always have effective tools at your disposal.
