Spirit - Improving everyday operations
The patented Injector technology, developed by the company
Injector Trawldoors, transfers Bernoulli's aerodynamic airfoil
principles to the hydrodynamic environment. This has made it
possible to develop a highly effective deflector, creating the
spread force by underpressure (vacuum).
The design has undergone comprehensive ANSYS analysis, flume
tank-scale testing and open water full-scale testing. All proved
that the Spirit Deflector has unprecedented qualities.
The logged data from our full-scale testing of our F-32 model in
open water, confirms that the technology represents numerous
benefits for the user.

User benefits:
The surplus lift created may be utilized in:
- Fuel savings
- Easier obtained separation
- Less strain on engines
- Flexibility in streamer configuration
- Streamer capacity
- Streamer separation
- Reduced carbon emission
The "high aspect" design is stable at low angle of attack (AoA),
thus giving reduced need for additional and downsized equipment for
smaller jobs. The design represents reduced tip vortex effect.
The deflector, together with our foiled separation rope
solutions, represents significant fuel savings. The estimates shows
an obtainable fuel saving of at least 10%. The foiled separation
ropes may represent additional savings of 5-7%. The foils also
represent a positiv impact of offset figures.
