After several years of expansion, organizational adaptions will now be carried out, and the group will be divided into four business areas.

Roar Ristesund is MøreNot’s new sales manager on the Norwegian market. He had his debut at the Aqua Nor exhibition in Trondheim 16th-19th of August.

The trawl is purchased by a lot of white-fish trawlers and this tells us about the trawl’s performance. In cooperation with several of our customers we have developed a new kite for trawls.

MøreNot Holding AS has acquired a majority shareholding in the Spanish company Delta Aqua Redes SL. The acquisition is a part of MøreNot’s expansion strategy and is in accordance with its desire to expand the market around the Mediterranean Sea.

In order to satisfy new requirements from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, MøreNot Karmsund has developed a new lice treatment tarpaulin. The tarpaulin was recently tested in a test tank in Hirtshals, Denmark.

Alsaker Fjordbruk chooses MøreNot Karmsund AS as their supplier of fish farm nets for 2011. The order marks a positive start to the New Year for MøreNot Karmsund.

Mainstream Norway has signed a new contract with Helnessund Bøteri AS, which is part of the MøreNot group. The contract is valued at 7 million, and Mainstream will buy all their nets for 2011 from Helnessund Bøteri AS.

Polarcus chose MøreNot's line of specialized seismic towing and handling equipment also for their new vessel “Polarcus Alima”.

The MøreNot subsidiary Net Services Shetland has signed an agreement with Marine Harvest in Scotland to supply nylon net for 2011 and 2012. The agreement has a potential value of more than NOK 8 million.

In 2008 MøreNot started developing a new cod trawl. After a project period with customer, we ended at a model in size # 738 (155mm).

Cooperation with a Chinese company significantly increases the production volume of nets at MøreNot and affiliates outside of Norway.

The MøreNot Group has had great success with its sales of PLEXUS® nets for salmon farmers during the Aqua Nor fair this year.
